Cognia, a global educational improvement organization, has selected Stephanie W. Cawthon, PhD, to serve on its Texas Advisory Committee.
Members of this committee are intentionally selected as thought leaders to provide insight and expertise on educational issues and work together to advance the delivery of quality and equitable education for all students in the state. They will serve as strategic guides and trusted advisors for Cognia’s work — facilitating change that improves outcomes for children in Texas and around the world.
Cognia (cognia.org) is a global nonprofit improvement organization dedicated to helping institutions and other education providers grow learners, teachers, and leaders.
Formerly SACS Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (then AdvancED), Cognia merged with Measured Progress to create the largest educational community in the world — serving over 36,000 public and private institutions from early learning through high school in more than 90 countries. It offers accreditation, certification, assessment, and professional services within a continuous improvement framework.
